From idea to object.
We approach every project individually, adapting the way we work to the needs of each client and brief. The stages below offer a glimpse into how the process might unfold.
01 —Brief
We start with the context: what the object is for, where it will be used, quantities, timings and budget.
02 — Design & development
Depending on the project, we develop a new piece or adapt an existing Lagom design, exploring form, material, colour and detail.
03 — Sampling & making
Prototypes and samples are developed with our specialist makers before production begins.
04 — Production
Pieces are produced in small batches with our network of craftspeople and manufacturing partners.
