A Quiet January in the Studio
New glassware ideas in progress
After the busyness of the end of the year, these slower weeks have given me time to pause, reflect, and return to the heart of making. There’s something valuable about this in-between season — when there’s space to experiment without pressure and ideas are allowed to unfold at their own pace.
Lately, I’ve been working on a couple of new glassware pieces for spring. I’m spending time refining shapes, thinking about how each piece will feel in the hand, and how it might live on a table or shelf in everyday life. Alongside this, I’ve also been exploring a few new materials and finishes, testing how they behave and what they might add to future work.
Nothing is quite ready to share just yet, but this stage — the quiet testing, the small adjustments, the learning — is an important part of the process. It’s where many ideas begin.
I’m looking forward to gradually bringing these new pieces to life over the coming months and, in time, sharing them with you. Thank you for being here and for supporting my work — it truly means a great deal.
More soon…
