How to Make the Sangria Everyone Will Ask For 🍊🍷
Summer may be winding down, but there’s still time to celebrate with a refreshing sangria. Served in a set of unique glasses, this cocktail is perfect for entertaining friends or family. Ingredients
500ml red wine
2 oranges, 1 lemon, ½ peach
1 cinnamon stick
50ml brandy
Soda or sparkling water
Sugar, if desired
Method
Prepare the juice: Juice one orange and half the lemon, then set aside.
Slice the fruit: Thinly slice half of the remaining orange, the lemon half, and the peach. Cut into small triangles. Keep a small handful of chopped fruit and the final orange half for serving.
Combine in the carafe: Add the remaining chopped fruit to your handmade glassware carafe with the cinnamon stick, orange juice, lemon juice, and brandy. Add sugar syrup if you prefer a sweeter sangria.
Add the wine: Pour in the red wine and mix gently. Chill in the fridge for a couple of hours, or overnight for a deeper infusion.
Serve beautifully: Place chopped fruit at the bottom of a tall handmade glass, add two large ice cubes, pour over the sangria, and finish with soda or sparkling water for a light fizz.
